Taking the family down to Thirroul to the beach on Sunday I decided that I would fang the car through the Royal National Park which in its own right is a great albeity short set of twisties through the 3rd oldest national park in the world. The road winds its way down through the hills and forest until it comes to the cliff edge's at a spot known as Bald Hill. The views from up here are just beautiful and it's a popular spot for motorcyclists to stop in and take a break and shoot the breeze.
So I was amazed to see this vehicle pull up in the car park in amongst the bikes. It sure did attract a lot of attention. I've never seen one of these in real life only in the movies. It even had "MCFLY" number plates with a hover board in the back seat. I must say I'm not a fan of the stainless steel finish it just looks blurgh...
But sadly no flux capacitor.
ReplyDeleteReally nice photo of the coast!
Yes no Flux capacitor and I also highly doubt it could do 88 miles per hour?
DeletePretty rare, especially here in Oz.
ReplyDeleteYep sure is, that why I took a look and picture.
DeleteStunning first picture.
ReplyDeleteSo, you have a Three Sisters and we have a Three Sisters, and you have a Bald Hill and we have a Bald Hill. Who knew some names of mountains/hills would be so popular across the globe.
Such a small world huh Brandy. You guys would love it here, no cold weather plenty of time for riding. Come over for a holiday.
DeleteFantastic views mate - this planet has some pretty special places eh?
ReplyDeleteWell fancy that! There's a DeLorean in an Auckland museum and I remember seeing it about 5 years ago and how absolutely crude it looked on the inside. I vaguely remember the tale about De Lorean ripping off the Irish government for serious amounts of money on the car-building project. I think that it's being resurrected in Texas this year. I'm guessing the result will be much the same!
Haha I would doubt it although you wouldn't want to piss off the Irish, they can be hard bastards.
DeleteOne of my son's mates has a beaten up old Nissan that they affectionately refer to as 'The DeLorean'.
ReplyDeleteI bet its silver right?
DeleteHi Chiller, hope your Dad is continuing his recovery. As you say, life can take very serious twists quite quickly. Also glad the transplant on your bike was a success.
ReplyDeleteHi Theo
