What could be better than a sports bike?

If your a regular reader of this blog then you would know that I love my sports bikes and in particular Yamaha's R1. Well I do own two of them. You could say that I'm an R1 aficionado, or maybe more appropriately an Absolute Nutter. Well I'm sure you get the picture. So what can be better than 1 sports bike in the garage? That easy 2 sport bikes. Mmmmm now what could be better than 2 sports bikes, yes your getting my drift now 3 sports bikes. So here we have 3 magnificent specimens of speed and beauty. The gods are smiling on us today.

The year models are
2000 YZF R1 - Red/White/Black
2002 YZF R1 - Blue/White
2015 YZF R1 - Red/White

Flyboy kindly lent me his R1 for a while until he can get his suspension fixed. Haha giving me the keys to an R1 I don't own is the equivalent of letting a kid loose in a candy store with no adult supervision. Dave the suspension will be the last thing you need to worry about.

For the sports bike lovers out there enjoy the slush fest of PORNOGRAPGHY. If this doesn't get your juices flowing your either dead or impotent.

2013 Formula Xtreme - Eastern Creek Rnd 5

Yep it's that time of year again when the Formula Xtreme juggernaut rolls into action at Eastern Creek or Sydney Motor sport Park as it's called these days. The anticipation for this has been building for months now and it did not disappoint. Sunday was the fifth round of the championship and as always the racing was pretty good. Unfortunately Bushpig couldn't make it out this weekend as he had a fiftieth to attend, the loser, so I decided to take the family instead. They loved it and I got to drink beer err, I mean spend quality time with them.

Turn 2 action and R1's kicking ass

600 wheelie time
The Kawasaki pictured below won the super bikes race one by some margin, but in race 2 I watched as he crashed out of second place at turn 9 ruining his championship title challenge. Great effort and racing though.

The Yamaha factory outfit was professional as ever with the mechanics at fever pitch getting the bikes ready for race 2. Looks like it worked as they won race 2. Rick Olsen in the picture below was the winner.

By the end of the day I told the kids it was time to go home and little miss 5 said she didn't want to leave she wanted to stay and watch the motorbikes. Looks like I may have started something.

Get out of the way dad - look motorbikes

Future Gridgirl

Here's my new tshirt that I got at the Formula Xtreme racing last weekend at Eastern Creek. Modelled by my beautiful 3 year old. She said its a "skirt". Maybe she will become a one eyed Yamaha fan as well.
