Ah not again! A picture Journey

It's said that a picture tells a thousand words so let me tell you a little story, with a minimum amount of words.

If it has these......

or these......

It's going to give you trouble.....

Bear with me this is going somewhere, trust me

If you own one of these.....

Which has one of these.......

Then sooner or later you will have one or two of these.......

Which will give you  one of these.......

Leaving you here.........

Like this............

And you feel like doing this......

Or this...........

Because you will need lots of this........

To get back to doing this......

Is it any wonder I need this......

  2. Best post ever!
I certainly liked the way it started. It sort of tapered off in the middle but it finished strongly! ;-)

    Bloody R1s and their batteries.....:(

  3. Oh Bugger Steve! Must say it comes as a surprise though because when pre-2002 Blackbirds were merrily frying their rectifiers, the standard modification was to fit an R1 rectifier as they were considered bulletproof! Having just had the rectifier replaced under warranty by Triumph, I'm beginning to wonder why manufacturers can't get it right.

All the best for a speedy rectification (duhhh....)

    1. Yeah I'd read that on some of your earlier blog posts. I think the loose battery terminal earlier in the year was what did in this rectifier.

    1. I must say this has been the most fun post that I have done yet, even though at the time I was very pissed. Glad I left it for a week before blogging about it otherwise it would have been a very different post.

    1. Thats why the first picture was the last one I put on there, otherwise I would have never finished the post. It's funny that it took so long to find that picture as well, who'd would of thought that with all the adult sites out there it would be so hard to find a simple non nude pic like that.

    2. As Geoff said, the standard fix for a fried Honda RR was to fit an R1 item. Two of my three Hondas stuck me up on the side of the road when the RR failed. On the VFR800 I actually used to carry a spare RR when touring interstate etc.

    3. Thats not a bad idea Jules, with a little bit of spare wire under the seat and you should be able to get her going again. If just very frustrating breaking down on the bike.
