It's on again
After getting permission from the minister of finance and warfare last year things have been set in motion for another EPIC motorcycle tour. Last years trip didn't eventuate and has been delayed but its back on now with bike hire now confirmed. And who knows there could even be an international bloggers meet up involved. The destination has now been confirmed and dates locked in. Look out my kiwi blogging friends we are coming to play in your back yard. Lock up your daughters.
Looks like this will be part two of the amazing journey we started back in 2014, with a 9 day tour. One thing for sure it will be EPIC. Bring it on! I can't wait. Now to get started on the planning......
Very envious!
ReplyDeleteThere's always room for one more mate.
DeleteCheers
Oh cripes..........
ReplyDeleteYes, how much can you drink?
DeleteWonderful! Can't wait to tag along (albeit virtually).
ReplyDeleteSure thing, we will be riding roads you've have already sampled you lucky devil.
Deletesounds great steve
ReplyDeletehope you keep us updated with the trip
Sure will Peter, I'll have it up on the blog just as last time.
DeleteSweet! This should be fun to watch, especially when throwing in blogger meet-ups. If you meet up with Rogey and he offers you Saki, watch out, it is a trap. :-)
ReplyDeleteCant wait to get over there although its 6 months off yet. Plenty of time for planning
DeleteCripes indeed. Will have to have a chat with a friend in Aviation Security about rubber gloves - dimpled ones on this occasion I think ;-) . Sounds like I might have to loan your team my radar detector, haha.
ReplyDeleteHeh heh be seeing you soon geoff, we will bring a spare set of gloves for you buddy.
DeleteWith our over zealous highway patrols to keep us all safe you might be surprise that you guys are the hoons and need the radar detector to stay in check.
Hi Chiller, always sad to hear about accidents involving bikers and sorry to hear about Ash although I never visited his blog. When I first started riding in 2010, I was a regular visitor to Forty Years on Two wheels, and it generated a lot of my motivation to get out and ride. Then in 2004 Doug the blogger just stopped, saying he or maybe his bike needed a maintenance break. Since then ... nothing and I often wonder how Doug is. I continue to blog because it fulfils the need I had when I started, which simply was to record my motorcycling activities for my own enjoyment when I can no longer ride. Good luck with the NZ ride - I will follow with interest. Been there a few times but never on a bike.
ReplyDeleteHey Theo
DeleteYeah I read Dougs blog too. I'll continue with my blog for a while yet, just haven't been doing any riding lately to blog about.
Such a great ride destination, especially North Island.
